If your mortgage company convinced you to take on many additional products when you first took out your mortgage, you may be paying more in fees than you need to. Extra features can be helpful if you choose the right ones, but many people often find that their mortgage company has convinced them to add features that they have found that they will never use. If the amount you pay in fees is significant, you may wish to consider refinancing with a different mortgage company.
