Do You Trust Your Mortgage Company?

If you don't quite trust your mortgage company, it may be worthwhile following your instincts and looking deeper into their operations. You never know what you may find in terms of news reports and investigations into the practices of a mortgage company.

Having said that, it is still important for you to be fair to your mortgage company by following your investigation to its actual end, not just the end that proves your suspicions. News reports can often be poorly researched or biased to one side. Unless a news report backs itself up with real evidence, you may be better off ignoring it. If you do decide your mortgage company is untrustworthy, look into your agreement to find out how easy and worthwhile it would be to refinance with a new mortgage company.
